Obituary for LEE

Charles K. Lee, 86, an Albuquerque resident since 1957, died Tuesday, September 5, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Olive Lee of Albuquerque; daughters, Caroline Thompson and husband, David of Jemez, NM and Susan Janes and husband, Marvin of La Cueva, NM; grandchildren, Erica Pierce and husband, Joe, Dale Thompson, Jesse Thompson, Taylana Thompson, Shalona Thompson; great-granddaughter, Hannah Thompson; brother, Roger Lee; step-sons, Kim Arthun and Robin Arthun. Mr. Lee was a US Navy veteran of WWII. He retired from Sandia Labs as an electrical engineer after 25 years of service. After retirement, he spent time at his studio working with metal casting and his foundry work. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
