Obituary for SCHIEMENZ

James E. (Jimmy) Schiemenz passed away August 25, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; his parents, Fred and Anna; his sister, Anna; his brothers, Bob and Herman. He is survived by his son, Jimmy Dearsch and his nieces, Jo Ann Vanderberg and Loretta Lee Morris. Jimmy was born in Madrid, NM on Christmas Eve 1927. He attended Albuquerque High School, served his term in the Navy as a Seaman First Class, and then worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. Most people know Jim as Jimmy of Jimmy's Auto Repair on 2nd Street. He was active in the auto service organization IASA (aka: IGA or the ASA automotive service association) serving a term as president. Jimmy's favorite pastime was fishing at Navajo Lake. A regular at the restaurant El Camino, he loved both red and green: and an occasional Miller Lite. A Memorial Service will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday September 2, 2006 at St. Chad's Episcopal Church, 7171 Tennison NE.
