Barbara Louise Nunnally passed away on August 28, 2006. She fought a stoic battle with cancer. Her wish to stay at home throughout her illness was fulfilled and she died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born November 12, 1930 in San Francisco, CA to Harold and Katherine Peterson. She is survived by her sister, Beverly and her husband, James Wagstaff; along with a great many nieces and nephews; her daughters, Nancy and Laura of Albuquerque, Susan of New York City; her son, Thomas and his wife, Pamala; her grandsons, Alexander and Noah Nunnally. She was blessed with great friends, Margaret Nahas and her family, Carolyn Moran, Opal Stanton, and Janice Crane. Barbara loved her home in Sandia Park and enjoyed working outdoors with her sweet dog, "Friend" who will miss her very much. Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at VistaCare hospice for their tremendous help with Barbara's transition to her new life. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements made by Aspen Funeral Alternatives.
