Robert Madrigal, loving father and grandfather, passed away August 28, 2006. An Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He will be remembered for being a great dad and grandpa. He is survived by his wife, Lupe Madrigal; children, Joseph Madrigal, Roberta Lopez, Christina Madrigal Rahman and husband, Salih Rahman, Yolanda Madrigal, Lisa Madrigal, Robert Madrigal Jr., and Eva Madrigal; siblings, Isaac, Delia, Annie, Margaret, Mary Lou, and Jessie; grandchildren, Chastidy, Thomas, Jessica, Joanna, Alyssa, Estrella, Esperanza, Giovanni, Elijah, Joshua, and one on the way, Jacob; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 31, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 1, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. following the Mass. Pallbearers will be Chastidy Madrigal, Thomas Madrigal, Michael Benavidez, Phillip Lopez, Max Griego, and Clyde Bologh. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessica Madrigal and Victor Garcia.
