James (Jim) Erwin Hare, 78, of Lockhart, TX passed away July 19, 2006 at Central Texas Medical Center, San Marcos, TX. Jim served in U.S. Army, received his Bachelor's Degree from University of New Mexico and retired from Sandia Laboratories. He was active in the community and served as Treasurer for Concerned Citizens of Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, a son and daughter of Lockhart, TX. Services were arranged and held at McCurdy Funeral Home, 106 E. Pecan St., Lockhart, TX. 78644. Burial was at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
