Jose D. Mr. Jose D. Torres, 85, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 15, 2006. Mr. Torres is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-eight years, Eufelia; his son, Gilbert Torres and wife, Janet; his daughter, Anna Updegraff; three grandchildren, Freddie Torres and wife, Melissa, Annette Fiedler and husband, Jeremy and Joseph Torres and Edwina Lemus; seven great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Peggy, Mary, Gloria and husband, Ramon, Luciana, Nora, Antonia and Elena; two brothers, Steve and wife, Tarcie and Bennie; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Torres was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army/Air Force serving during WWII. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona S.W. on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors.
