Ramona Valdez Lovato, 88 years old, a 47-year resident of South Gate, CA, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006 in Long Beach, CA. She was born in Bernalillo, NM, March 25, 1918. She was a member of the South Gate Civic Center Museum, St. Helen Women's Council, American Legion, and Southeast Democratic Club. She was also honored as a South Gate Azalea court member and acknowledged from South Gate High School PTA - PTSA for Woman of the Year 2005. Mrs. Lovato was preceded in death by George Lovato Sr., George Lovato Jr. She is survived by William Lovato, Gloria and Mary Ann Lovato, Mark Anthony Lovato.
