Maria Concepcion Saiz, 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in Socorro, NM. She was born March 26, 1923 to Juan and Maria (Aragon) Peralta in Kelly, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eusebio Saiz; son, Nicholas Eusebio Saiz; son-in-law, Mario Perez; daughter-in-law, Irene Saiz; and brother, Florentino Peralta. She is survived by her son, Phillip Richard Saiz of Albuquerque, NM; daughters: Frances Gonzales and husband, Tommy of San Antonio, NM; Berlinda Perez of Socorro; Rosemary Rosas and husband, Reyes of Alamillo, NM; Mable Gonzales and husband, Marcos Jr. of Socorro; and Cindy Saiz and companion, Denise McEntire of Socorro; brother, Max Peralta of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Stephanita Peralta of Albuquerque; sister, Magdalena Chavez and husband, Simon of Albuquerque; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Interment will be in the San Acacia cemetery. Pallbearers are Carlos Saiz, Robby Gonzales, Mario Perez, Steven Rosas, James Rosa, and Marco (Bobo) Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers are Joaquin Saiz, Kenny Gonzales, Jason Gonzales, and Michael Gonzales. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
