ROSE A. Mrs. Rose A. Ramirez, 81, born in Las Vegas, NM on April 8, 1925, and a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 14, 2006 peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family and is now in heaven with our Lord. Mrs. Ramirez is the beloved mother to Archie Ramirez and wife, Carol, Tony Ramirez Jr. and wife, Mary, Mary Ann Barrera and husband, Juan, Maria Gallegos and husband Joe, Edwina Torrez and husband, Edwin, Louisa Silk and husband, Kenneth, Leroy Ramirez and wife, Elizabeth, Tommy Ramirez, Richard Ramirez, and Minerva Rojas. Mrs. Ramirez is also survived by two sisters, Rose Madrid and husband, Amadeo and Dolores Phillips; one brother, Joe Dimas Aragon and wife, Consuelo; 23 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Ramirez was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Ramirez Sr.; her parents, Amadeo and Nabora Aragon; a son, Frank C. Ramirez; a daughter, Theresa Ramirez; three brothers, Arcenio Aragon, Felipe Aragon, and Tony Apodaca. Mrs. Ramirez was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Mrs. Ramirez will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Virginia Garcia. Final visitation will be Friday morning at San Jose Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Gabriel Paredes. Cremation to follow. Pallbearers will be Ricardo Gutierrez, Robert Torres, Kenneth Silk, Kevin Silk, Leroy Ramirez Jr., and Eli Ramirez. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
