Flora L. Otero, age 89, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on August 10, 2006. She was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church. Flora was born in Santa Rita, NM, to the late Antonio and Manuela Lopez on September 18, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abenicio "Ben" Otero in 2001. Flora is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. The family requests that donations be made to the Ben and Flora Otero Scholarship Fund, PO Box 1417, Los Lunas, NM, 87031. Services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church on Saturday, August 12, 2006 beginning with a visitation from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Father Douglas Mitchell.
