Roberto Andres Lucero, 68, of Albuquerque, NM, made his final journey to be with Great Spirit, on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at 10:55 p.m. Roberto is survived by Gabriel James, M. Angela of Albuquerque, NM, Joaquin E. of Alamosa, CO, and Celia Andrea of Denver, CO; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; as well as his brothers and sisters. Roberto was a respected member of the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and the New Mexico Art League. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a participant of local Teatro and golf events. He was also an accomplished artist and a published author with his work entitled "Sangre del Monte." His mother, father, eldest daughter, and a beloved uncle preceded Roberto in death. His ashes will be returned to his native Los Pinos, NM. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. Roberto will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
