JOSE Mr. Jose Montoya, 85, a resident of Isleta Pueblo, NM passed away on August 9, 2006. Mr. Montoya is the beloved father to Odelia Jojola and husband, John H., Josie Montoya, Jeanette Abeita and husband, Leo, Mary Rose Lujan, Albert Montoya, and Rosemary Montoya. Mr. Montoya is also survived by nine grandchildren, Dominic, Amanda, Zachary, Jessica, Darrell, Joyce, Jennifer, Naomi, and Denise; 12 great-grandchildren, Dominic Jr., Eugene, Aliana, Armando, Chancy, Andrew, Lucas Brice, Juan, Matthew, Amber, and Jacob; sisters-in-law, Rosie Papuyo and Frances Papuyo; brothers-in-law, Pula Papuyo and Delano Papuyo; and many other extended family members. Mr. Montoya was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Papuyo. Mr. Montoya was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army Serving in World War II. Visitation for Mr. Montoya will be Thursday evening at the family home of Rosie Papuyo in Isleta Pueblo, after 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Isleta Pueblo with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Hilaire Valiquette, O.F.M. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with Military Honors by the U.S. Army. Pallbearers will be family members.
