Obituary for LUJAN

Phillip Oscar Lujan, born April 7, 1952, went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2006 at the age of 54. Phillip was a Private 1st Class who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from the City of Albuquerque Traffic Division in 1991. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Castulo and Florinda Lujan; his brother, Henry (Enriquez) Lujan; also by his father-in-law, Jose C. Perea. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, B. Lillian Lujan; his two sons, Phillip G. Lujan, Eugene T. Lujan; his daughter, Dolores J. Lujan and husband, J.J.; his three brothers, Albert Lujan and wife, Eileen, Samuel Lujan and wife, Georgia, Steven Lujan and wife, Debora; his three sisters, I. Jeanette Sanchez and husband, Alcario, Josephine Gutierrez and husband, Antonio, Bertha Sanchez and husband, Tom; his sister-in-law, Margaret Lujan Tenorio; mother-in-law, Lorey Perea; his brothers-in-law, Raymond Perea and wife, Patsy, and Ivan Perea; his sister-in-law, B. Patsy Luna and husband, Charles; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be deeply missed by all. Visitations will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Stover Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A Rosary to follow at St. Anne's Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. Rosary will be led by Reyna Chavez. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday August 11, 2006 at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Torreon Cemetery, in Torreon, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Alcario Sanchez, Antonio Gutierrez, Tom Sanchez, Raymond Perea, Ivan Perea, and Charles Luna. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Taylor, and Charlie Gutierrez.
