Sherrie Dobbins-Tipton, age 49, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 6, 2006. She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1992 and retired from Southwest Airlines after 20 years of service as a flight attendant. She was active with the TWU Local 556, and for 18 years she was a member of the Election Committee. Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Dobbins. She is survived by her husband, Charles Tipton; sister, Deborah Dobbins; brother, Randy Dobbins and wife, Valerie and their sons, Colton and Justin; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. For the many friends and family there will be a Memorial Service with reception following at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111, 505-293-9673, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2006.
