Obituary for HARTSELL

G.E. Hartsell, 77, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on August 7, 2006 in the presence of loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife, Jody; his children ,Glenna, Bill, Marty and his wife, Rosalie, George, Mary Jo and her husband, Mike. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Gannon; grandchildren, Kim, Sarah, Cayce, Scott, Jordan, Dalton, and Jakob. G.E. also had three great-grandchildren; numerous relatives; and countless friends. G.E. was a devoted servant to his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He proudly served his country for 23 years in the United States Air Force. G.E. was a blessing to all who knew him. He had a great passion for fishing when he could find the time and was able. The world has lost a great man but, Heaven has gained a great soul. We will miss his wisdom, his guidance, his courage, his friendship, and the twinkle in his eye that could light up any room. Services will be held at Foothills Baptist Church, 15450 S. 21st Street, Phoenix, AZ 85048, Friday, August 11, 2006 with a 10:00 a.m. viewing and Services at 11:00 a.m. There will be another Service at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson, OK on Monday, August 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m., burial to follow. Arrangements handled by Tempe Mortuary in Tempe, AZ and Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson, OK. Donations may be made in memory of G.E. Hartsell to the American Heart Assoc. or Hospice of the Valley, at Friendship Village in Mesa, AZ.
