Mary "no the weather is ok" Flynn Durham, 89, died peacefully on Sunday evening, August 6, 2006. She is now teeing it up with her husband, Capt. Harold "Bull" Durham USN Ret. She is survived by her four children who adore her, Dr. Robert F. Durham and wife, Kathy, Dr. Michael D. Durham and wife, Dr. Jan Durham, Alice O'Shea and husband, Dr. Patrick O'Shea, and Joseph Durham; her brother, Jack Flynn and wife, Susie; her brothers-in-law, Alfonse Popolato and Robert Durham and wife, Margaret; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary loved family, God and golf and not always in that order. She lived a very complete life as a wife, mother, golfer and caregiver. The name that she was referred to by all her offspring was "tough old broad". Visitation will be Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
