David R. Johnson January 27, 1947- July 30, 2006 A lifelong resident of New Mexico, graduated from Farmington High School, and from New Mexico Highlands University with a B.S. in biology. David served honorably in the U.S. Army in Germany. He was the senior employee and a manager of Clarks Pet Emporium from 1973 until his death. "Dave" was a nationally known tropical fish expert who toured the Amazon river and tributaries in the early 1980's with a national fish importer. A lifelong musician, guitarist, and keyboardist who composed and recorded original music. He is remembered as an intelligent, sensitive and loyal husband, friend and conscientious co-worker. David was preceded in death by his mother, Helen, and his father, Reed E. Johnson. Dave is survived by his wife, Jan, and brother, Keith of Mississippi. A Memorial Service will be held at Aspen Funeral home, 1935 Juan Tabo NE, at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2006. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent in David's name to March of Dimes, NM Chapter, 5900 Jefferson NE, Ste F, ABQ, 87109
