Mark A Marquez, 48, passed away suddenly at UNM Hospital Saturday, July 29, 2006. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Marquez; Nana, Margaret Perea and Tata, Louie Perea; grandmother, Dulcinea; grandfather, Carlos; uncle, Fino; auntie, Lea; grandson, DeVante Wells; and close friend, Vivian Sanchez. Mark is survived by his daughter, Marlene Marquez; son, Gabriel; three grandchildren, LaVontrae Wells, Johlil Wells and Aaliyah Wells; father, Rey Marquez; his sisters, Therese Flores, Diane Algire and husband, Bill; aunt, Rosella Griego and husband, Fred; uncles, Manuel, Eloy, Bernie and wife, Corrine Marquez and Bobby Baca; nieces, Valerie Flores and Nicole Algire; nephew, Vicente Flores; longtime friends, Mateo Sanchez, Godson, Louie Griego; and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 3, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover SW. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 4, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Honorary pallbearers are Vincente Flores, Dominic Griego, David Marquez, Mateo Sanchez, Steve Marquez, Terri Torres, Tommy Marquez, and James Marquez.
