Elaine "Kit" Robbins, 87, passed away at a local nursing home on July 23, 2006. Kit a native of New York, was a life long collector of books, antique dolls, Native American art and artifacts. She made significant contributions to the museum of the City of New York and was the curator of dolls for the museum. Kit was married to the noted artist and designer Seymour Robbins. Kit is survived by her nephew, Alan L. Copland and wife, Marta of Cary, NC; and niece, Debbie Copland of Santa Rosa, CA. A Memorial Service for Kit will be held at the chapel of Manzano del Sol Good Samaritan Village, 5201 Roma Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM, on Monday, July 31, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will take place in New York at a later date.
