Marion J. Luba, 76, of Golden, CO and former resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for 10 years, died July 16, 2006 at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Denver, CO. Mr. Luba was born June 21, 1930, in Chicago, IL and lived in Albuquerque from 1994-2004. He later moved to the Golden area to be close with his family. Mr. Luba was a Korean War Veteran. He served in the US Army (Retired) Marion is survived by his brother, Ronald; a son, Stephen of Golden, CO; a daughter-in-law, Teri, along with two grandchildren, Walter and Phil. He was preceded in death by both his parents, Sophie and Felix Luba of Chicago, IL; brother, Richard Luba of new Port Richey, FL. The funeral will be held on Monday, July 24, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado. In Lieu of flowers, friends and family may contribute to the American Cancer Society.
