Obituary for KEAGLE

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Saturday July 22, 2006

PRISCILLA It is with great sorrow and a deep regret that the Keagle family wishes to announce the passing of Priscilla Keagle. Priscilla died in her home on July 17, 2006 after an illness at age 76. She is survived by her husband of Dee, with whom she enjoyed 46 years of marriage, and from which came her two loving daughters, Frances, who currently resides in Chicago, and Valerie who still lives in Albuquerque. She is also survived by two brothers, Roman Melo and Larry Melo also of Albuquerque. A native New Mexican, Priscilla was one of the early employees of the Fred Harvey organization and enjoyed many years in Albuquerque at the original Alvarado Hotel the 1950s and 60s. She then went on to pursue a career working for Espernaza Para Los Ninos caring for children with very special needs. We are sure that all of the friends she made over the years will certainly agree that she will always remembered for her sense of humor and generous caring nature. It was Priscilla's expressed desire that no memorial service be scheduled. Even though she will be greatly missed, that special smile which warmed our hearts so deeply over the years will be etched into our memories, and will always be with us.
