Obituary for SANCHEZ

Sally E. Sanchez, 85, lifelong Albuquerque resident, found her final rest Saturday, July 8, 2006. She was born September 18, 1920 in Maxwell, NM. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rossendo J. Sanchez. She is survived by her sons, Lawrence and Daniel; grandsons, James and Jonathan Sanchez; siblings included Cornelia Sanchez, Mary Martinez, Arlene Wagner, William, Clyde, Richard, Ruben, and Elder Joseph Espinosa; and many nieces and nephews; along with LaNora Linton (grandmother of James and Jonathan), all who loved her very much. She was a teacher with over 40 years of experience, in APS and private schools. She loved her students, and mentored many new teachers. Her interests and hobbies included: creative writing, painting, genealogy, traveling, writing music, sewing, and gardening. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4920 Wyoming Blvd. NE, and Funeral to follow on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Central Church, 2201 Estancia Dr. NW, with interment to follow at Santa Fe Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
