Marian E. Hicks born July 21, 1908, in Ashland, Kansas passed away July 7, 2006. Marian is survived by her sister Margaret H. Hufham; five cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents David J and Angeline (Black) Hicks; brother Earl M. Hicks; and sister Laura B. Hicks. Though coping with lifelong illnesses, Marian was a compassionate, caring teacher, friend, and sister. Funeral services will be held for Marian Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church 6200 Gibson Blvd. SE. with Rev. Michael Brunk officiating.
