Lucaria Rosa Vega, 64, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 3, 1942 in Socorro, NM to Felipe and Maria (Gonzales) Anaya. Lucaria was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Valentin "Tiny" Anaya. She is survived by her husband, Carlos Vega of their home in Socorro; daughter, Carlina Harris and husband, Travis of San Antonio, NM; sons: Enrique (Henry) Vega of Socorro; and Carlito Vega and wife, Amanda of Lemitar, NM; grandchildren: Matthew Harris, Jessica Vega, Melanie Harris, Brandy Vega, and Dionne Vega; two sisters: Annie Anaya and Debbie Paul; six brothers: Paul, Narcy, Louie, Phillip, Gilbert, and Leroy Anaya; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Polvadera, NM cemetery. Pallbearers are Manuel Anaya, J.R. Anaya, Jacob Paul, Joey Vega, Matthew Harris, and Louis Vega. Honorary Pallbearers are all of her nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
