Sharon M. Keeney, beloved wife of Denis Keeney of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Monday, June 19, 2006. A graduate of Los Lunas High School, she spent most of her life in Los Lunas. She was an administrative assistant to Hugh and Tom Horne, Attorneys at Law for 25 years, Personal Banker, Wells Fargo Bank 13 years, and most recently a Client Services Representative for Social Security Administration in Albuquerque. Her love for family and friends, contagious laughter, and kindness to others is her legacy. Her vast talents and interest included western art, music, dance, writing poetry, making crafts and interior design. She is survived by Denis Keeney, her loving husband of 30 years; two step-daughters, Sherry Ochoa and Shannon Keeney; four grandchildren, Joshua, Dylan, Brooke and Jessica; cousins, Tom and Annette Buckley of Sheridan, WY; and the hundreds of friends who loved her. Mrs. Keeney was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and "Curly" Carlton and brother, Jim Carlton. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and in fulfillment of her dream, her husband will take her to Wyoming for interment.
