Robert R. Garcia "Boogie" was born March 3, 1949. He passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Robert is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gigette Theresa of Bernalillo, NM; three daughters, Gigette M. Nieto and husband, Joe of Algodones, NM, Shelley D. Garcia and son, Brandyn Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM, Allison Ann Casaus of Henderson, NV; five brothers and sisters, Margaret Garcia, Sally Simental, Mary Ann Love, Tony Garcia, and George Garcia, all of Cheyenne, WY; six half brothers and sisters; a special uncle, Gilbert Ortiz of Cheyenne, WY; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Myles, Perry Garcia, Daniel Gallegos, Ray Martinez, Lonnie Chavez, Joe Nieto Sr., Ron Moreno, and Martin Abeyta.
