Iola, 90: Our Beloved and "Feisty" Grandmother joined the Lord on Saturday June 10, 2006. She is survived by her Loving Husband, Ben Martinez; and by her children, Bob Martinez, Gene Martinez, Jim Martinez and wife, Lydia, Ray Martinez and wife, Therese; her grandchildren, Phil Martinez, Charles Martinez, Richard Martinez, and Louise Martinez, Vince Martinez and Arlene Baca. She also leaves behind many great- and great-great-grandchildren. Iola enjoyed a great love of gardening and especially loved growing roses. She also adored cats. We will miss listening to her stories, and watching her enjoy her favorite treat of blackberry preserves. We will greatly miss our Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend, and we are looking forward to the day we will all be reunited in Heaven. Private Services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006.
