M. Montelle Moore, age 85, passed away on June 3, 2006 in San Antonio, TX. She was a devoted homemaker, who was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles E. (Digger) Moore Jr., who was an Air Traffic Controller. She was a 1942 graduate of the University of New Mexico, always proud to be a sister in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, and a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Albuquerque. She was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed boating, bowling, and yard work. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Steele of San Antonio and Jacque Eckstrom of Parker, CO; plus four grandchildren, Melissa Steele, Eric Steele, Justin Eckstrom, and Clayton Eckstrom. After cremation, she will be buried with her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
