Obituary for PRINCE

Ola Lee Williams Prince, 80, an Albuquerque resident, passed away on June 5, 2006 from congestive heart failure. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur; mother, Callie; sister, Lola; husband, Virgil; and son, Terrence. She was born September 22, 1925 and grew up in Konawa, OK. She married and raised three children in Hollywood, CA, retiring to the enchanted land of New Mexico. When life demanded a need to be strong, Ola drew from her Cherokee roots. Stray cats and dogs were her companions. Holding an artist temperament, she enjoyed painting, drawing, and quilting. Throughout her lifetime she wrote poetry, sang, and loved seeing plants grow in her garden. Ola believed in Jesus Christ and understood the basic truth that love is circular, everlasting. She is survived by her loving family: son, Jon Patrick Prince; daughter-in-law; Christine, granddaughter, Payton; her daughter, Kathryn Lee Prince Herrington; son-in-law Robert; grandson, Michael; daughter-like, Renita De Chellis; aunt, Myrtle Barrett; niece, Anita Power; nephews, Preston Smith, Sheldon Smith, Dennis Smith, Michael Smith; cousins; and friends. Ola was a member of the LDS Church Bear Canyon Ward for 17 years. The families wish to thank the staff of Heritage Home Healthcare Hospice and the LDS Relief Society.
