Andrew J. Vigil, beloved son, grandson, and nephew, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006 at a local hospital. He was born on March 9, 1966 in Cuba, NM to the late Herman Vigil and Felice Armijo. Andrew graduated from Cuba High School with the Class of 1984 and was a Journeyman Electrician by trade. Andrew is survived by his loving mother, Felice Baldonado and husband, Joe of Albuquerque; his grandparents, Lala Vigil of Cuba, NM, and Reynaldo and Josie Baldonado of Albuquerque; his aunts and uncles, Vivian Martinez, Cecil and Ramona Sanchez, Loretta Martinez, Max and Rita Jaramillo of Albuquerque, Joe and Mary Archuleta of Lomita, CA, Marshall and Margie Maestas, Mike Martinez and Frank Archuleta of Farmington, NM, Larry and Kathy Vigil, Brad and Eva Crowther, and Margaret Vigil of Cuba, NM. Also surviving are a special little sister, Monica Sanchez; four very special friends (brothers), David Sanchez, Dominic Cuaron, Tim Green, and Daniel Johnsey, all of Albuquerque; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Delfido Vigil, Policarpio and Benita Armijo; uncles, Estanislado (Tannie) Martinez, Leo Vigil; and aunt, Helen Archuleta. Andrew will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitations will be today (Wednesday) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd., SW, in Albuquerque; followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.; and on Thursday in Cuba, NM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; visitations from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Green, David Sanchez, Frank Martinez, Christopher Crowther, Marcos Jaramillo, and Dominic Casaus. Honorary bearers will be Daniel Johnsey, Steve Martinez, and Casey Martinez.
