Obituary for ANDREWS

W.P. "Bill" Andrews, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Collins and husband, Rick of Roswell, NM and Lorinda Wilkins of Roswell, NM; six grandchildren, Christy and husband, John, Kyle and wife, Lace, Kelli, Scott and wife, Becky, Aaron and fiance, Melissa, and Royce; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, James Andrews and wife, Marilyn of Hesperia, CA and their children, Karen Little and husband, Rick and Brian Andrews; and nephew, Efrain Andrews and wife, Pam. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Wilma R. Andrews on January 7, 2006; and brother, Charles Andrews. Bill was born in Dallas, TX on January 27, 1922 and attended Texas Tech. He proudly served in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the South Pacific Theater. Bill worked many years for Border Machinery Company in Albuquerque and El Paso. He was a beloved father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1500 Chelwood Park NE, on Saturday, June 3, 2006, 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to join the family, after the service, at the family home.
