Jack H. Chaves, 86, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2006. He was born on September 7, 1919 to Rowena and Roland Chaves in Nowata, OK. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Covino and son-in-law, Michael; and by the three grandchildren whom he adored: Francesca, Sophia, and Anthony Covino. Jack faithfully served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war, he became an architect and building contractor in California. He designed and built many beautiful homes during his lifetime. Jack will always be remembered for his love for the Lord and his unwavering loyalty to his family. A Graveside Service will be held on May 24, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. There will be a Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. the same day at Christ Community Fellowship Church, 5908 Anaheim NE, with Pastor Bob Brown officiating.
