Derek Ryan Anders came into this world on October 22, 1981 and left us on May 14, 2006. He was born in Albuquerque, NM and lived there for much of his life. He also lived in Denver, CO, Reno, NV, and most recently in Seattle, WA, which was the place of his death. Derek is survived by his mother, Susan Brown of Bellevue, WA; his father, Greg Anders of Reno, NV; his sisters, Julia Anders of Santa Fe, NM and Miriam Matthes of Bornheim, Germany; his grandmother, Dolores Pietrzak of Albuquerque, NM; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We all loved him dearly and will miss him every day. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
