Obituary for ROSENHEIM

Robert "Bob" R. Rosenheim Jr., a resident of Albuquerque since 1976, passed away on Monday May 8, 2006. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 27, 1936, Mr. Rosenheim grew up in Wilwood, NJ. He attended Pennsylvania Military College in Philadelphia prior to joining the USAF in 1959. Air Force locations included Wilford Hall, Lackland AFB, where he met and married Sally Tischler on June 1, 1966; Andrews AFB, Weisbaden Germany, Eglin AFB, Clark AFB, and the Kirtland NCO Academy. He retired as a Master Sergeant in 1982 after 23 years of honorable service. He became a civil servant at KAFB as a budget analyst from 1984 until May 8, 2006, and recently worked for LCI, a contractor for AFRL. He was a Boy Scout as a child and continued as a Scouter for OLA Troop 470, also Scout Commissioner for the Great Southwest Council. He was a professional ski instructor for 24 years at Sandia Peak, two years at Pajarito, indulging his skiing passion. He was an active member and a leader in the Ministry of the Eucharist at Our Lady of the Assumption (OLA) Church. Mr. Rosenheim is survived by his wife, Sally; daughter, Robin Marie and husband, Bill Freeman; sons, Christopher Shawn and wife, Amanda; David and wife, Karen; Daniel and wife, Mary; and Robert III and wife, Marna; 11 grandchildren, Kathryn and Kimberly Freeman, Cortnee, Autumn, Heather, Autumn, Brianne, Michael, Kren, Duane, and Christine Rosenheim; great-grandchildren; Kara, Cameron and Kathryn. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006 at OLA, followed by a Funeral Mass. Interment with honors will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made In Memory of Robert R.
