Obituary for WEBB

Bernard L. Webb, 70, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2006 following a lengthy illness. Bernard is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ann, of the family home; sons, Anthony Webb and wife, Theresa of Albuquerque, Brian L. Webb of Albuquerque; daughter, Deanna Gariss and husband, Sidney of Peralta, NM; and daughter, Kathleen Donlin and husband, Timothy of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his brother, Irvin Webb Jr. of Colora, MD; sister, Pauline Sheldon of Branson, CO; sister-in-law, Gertrude Knoll of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, Nabor Pena of Gallup, NM; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews; and many close friends and neighbors. Bernard was born September 12, 1935 in Richlands, VA. He enlisted in the Army at the age of 18 and retired as 1st Sergeant E-8. After retiring from the Army, Bernard worked for Creamland Dairies where he retired. He was a member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church for over 30 years. Bernard loved cooking, gardening, fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, friend, and neighbor and will be missed by all who knew him. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, May 11, 2006, 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 12, 2006, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Claremont and Vermont streets.
