Rosario (Charo) Fragas died on Monday, May 8, 2006. She is survived by her sons: Julio Alvarez and wife, Elda; Rogelio Torres and wife, Silvia; and daughters: Angela Alvarez; and Miriam Ruiz and husband, Dago. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Saida Fragas; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Charo lived most of her life in Cuba, but she lived the last 10 years in Albuquerque. She was passionate about her grandchildren and loved to cook for them always. She liked dominoes and playing cards. Life Celebration Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aidan Rendon-Ruiz, Dago Ruiz, Rogelio Torres, Diego Ruiz, Julio Alvarez, and Virgilio Gil.
