Earl "Gene" McMahan, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2006 in Albuquerque. He was born April 27, 1930 in Trinidad, CO to the late Harold and Rachel McMahan. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Margaret McMahan; three daughters, Lynne Ornelas and husband, Harry of San Diego, CA, Rae Ann Paden of Denver, CO, and Michelle Williams and husband, Jack of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, Cory and Brandon Ornelas of San Diego, CA, and Chloe and Maddie Williams of Dublin, OH; and one great-grandson, Jaron MacMootry of San Diego, CA. A Rosary will be recited, Wednesday, May 10, 2006, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 11, 2006, 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Avenue NW, with Father Richard McGowan, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Friends may visit on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at French Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. until time of Rosary.
