Mary Ellen Padilla "Mary", age 70, passed away tragically, Monday, May 2, 2006. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to garage sales, shopping, and cooking. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, David "Ben" Padilla and her two sons, Michael Padilla and Bennie Padilla. She is survived by her mother, Luby Lopez; two sons, Herman Padilla and Freddie Padilla and wife, Yvonne; three daughters, Beatrice Padilla, Dorothy Chavez, and Patricia Padilla; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; siblings; and other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd. SE, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
