Wilfred Benjamin Macias, 61, proud Marine Corps. Warrior found peace May 2, 2006 surrounded by his loving wife and family. His loving wife Dora cared for Ben during the last three years of his illness. He is survived by his wife, Dora Macias; mother, Sela Macias; son, Pancho Macias, Daniel Macias, Juan Castaneda, and Missel (Ben) Macias; daughters, Victoria Castaneda, Inez Macias, Rita Macias, Rosita Macias, and Naomi Macias; brothers, Nelson Archuletta and wife, Paula, Robert Macias and wife, Rita, Nestor Macias, and Jessie Macias and wife, Juanita; sisters Ruth Macias-Anderson and Col. Warner Anderson M.D. and Edna Garcia and husband Ted; many grandchildren; special nieces and nephews "Booty" Rangel, Rachel Gutierrez, Ronnie Macias, Amos Macias, Richard Macias, Ruben Macias, Selena White, Maj Bronson, Holly Asher, and Joshua Anderson. A Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited following the Visitation at 7:00 p.m. A second Visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Interment will follow at The Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jesse Macias, Ron N. Macias, Nestor Macias, Ralph Lopez, Jeremy Anderson, and Joshua Anderson.
