William Edward (Bill) Winn, 67, passed away Friday, April 28, 2006 of cancer. Born January 15, 1939 in Terre Haute, IN, he is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Joyce Johnson-Winn; four sons, Dennis and wife, Becky of Descanso, CA; David of Silver City; Dwayne and wife, Francine, and Donald and wife, Donna, of Albuquerque; also a stepson, Andy Johnson and wife, Rebecca of Washington, DC; a stepdaughter, Teresa Dunn and husband, Joe of San Antonio, TX; and four young grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferris and Elsie Winn of Terre Haute, and a brother, Floyd Winn of Columbus, NC. He served in the military as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He worked principally as an industrial electrician and retired in 2000 from 23 years at Rio Grande Portland Cement. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2006, 11:00 a.m., at Manzano Baptist Church, 12411 Linn Ave. NE, Albuquerque.
