William Francis Sefcik, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2006. Mr. Sefcik is survived by his wife of 69 1/2 years, Marion Dewey Sefcik; children, Ellen Sefcik of Albuquerque, George Sefcik and wife Barbara of Arizona, and Kathryn Carey and husband George of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mr. Sefcik was born in New York City, and was a long time employee of Sandia Laboratories. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2006, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road, NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
