Jessie Lee Chavez, 25, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. He is survived by his parents, Albert and Inez Gonzales of Albuquerque; biological father, Ronnie Nanjon; sister, Kacey Gonzales; brother, Bruce Chavez of Albuquerque; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jessie was preceded in death by his grandmother. Jessie graduated from Highland High School in 1998, where he played baseball and was a member of the swim team. In 2003 he graduated from De Wolfe Cosmetology School. Memorial Rosary with a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, West Side Chapel. A reception at the mortuary will follow the Services. Jessie will be taken back to Colorado for his final resting place. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
