Manuelita P. Sanchez was born February 7, 1924 in Albuquerque, NM. She passed away Monday, April 17, 2006 in Albuquerque. Preceded in death by her husband, Froilan Sanchez; daughter, Catherine Sanchez; parents, Manuel Sr. and Lucarita Padilla; brothers, Louis "Louie" M. Padilla and Manuel "Mimo" Padilla Jr., Manuelita is survived by her son, Cecil Sanchez and daughter-in-law, Ramona Irene; brothers, Mariano Padilla and wife, Mary Helen, Jole "Jose Maria" Padilla and wife, Mary Elaine, Marvin J. Padilla Sr. and wife, Linda Yvette, Victor Padilla and wife, Eleanor; sisters, Andrea Padilla and Lucy Padilla; sister-in-law, Loretta Padilla; one granddaughter, Monica Renee Sanchez; and one grandson, David Cecil Sanchez; 32 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and -nephews; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at St Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Road SW, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2006, with burial following at Los Padillas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Luise Padilla, Victor J. Padilla, Michael E. Padilla, Julian Padilla, Shawn J. Padilla and Mario Padilla Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Ross Sanchez, Joe Baldonado and Bill Walker.
