Cheryl Lynn Mora, 42, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past two years, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2006. Cheryl was born December 30, 1963 the daughter of Charles L. and Maxine Ann Sherwin Mora in Monterey Park, CA. She had been a Data Analyst with a cruise line. She loved to play golf and work in the garden. Cheryl loved her two dogs, Koko and Maja. She is survived by her life partner, Christine O'Keefe of Rio Rancho; her father, Charles Mora of Arizona; her mother, Mickey Mora of Rio Rancho; brothers, Marc Mora and wife, Deirdra of Placentia, CA, and Richard Mora of Barstow, CA; one sister, Lori Mora of Rio Rancho; nephew, Paul and niece, Danielle, both of California. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made in Cheryl's name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, The Komen Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244, or to a charity of one's choice.
