Preciliana LaVarta Martinez died Sunday, April 16, 2006 in Albuquerque at the age of 99. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Martinez, and by her son, Leonard Martinez. She is survived by three grandchildren, Julie Martinez, Leonard Martinez, and Timothy Martinez; and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Brittney, and Natasha. A Rosary for Mrs. Martinez will be recited on Tuesday evening, April 18, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
