Ruth Tarter, of Albuquerque, passed away at home on April 14, 2006. She was born January 31, 1918 in Arcata, California to Benjamin and Elizabeth Anna (Jones) Maddux. She married Everitt Robert Tarter and they raised three children together. Ruth served honorably in the US Army obtaining a rank of Sergeant. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Irene Elizabeth Knotts and Lesley Pamela Tarter and her son Robert Michael Tarter all of Albuquerque. A private burial will occur at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
