Filadelfio Garcia, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006. He is survived by his beloved wife, Josie Garcia of Albuquerque; his adored children, Alice Quintanilla, Christine Trujillo, Joann Luna, Elaine Alvarez, Michael Garcia, Loretta Mooring, Debbie Catbagan, Brenda Baker, Angela Salazar, Beverly Reynolds, their spouses; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Filadelfio Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria and Matilda Garcia; son-in-law, Gary Lee Voelkel; grandchild, Elly Allysa Baker; great-grandchild, Elena Maria Rivera. Filadelfio was a founding and faithful member of Maranatha Bible Church where he served as an Elder. He proudly served his country in the Army in World War II. Viewing will be held Sunday, April 16, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Road, N.W., Albuquerque. Services will be held Monday, April 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel with Dr. Dennis Otero officiating.
