Marvetta R. (Betty) 79, joined her Savior April 14, 2006. She was born February 10, 1927, in Bloodland, Missouri. Betty married Milton Benjamin Davis on December 30, 1944. They recently celebrated 61 years together. Betty was very much loved by her family and friends. She loved her family and they had many good times with her. She retired from Sandia National Laboratories after working 20 years, and had a long enjoyable retirement, working on her hobbies and caring for her grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Flora Ellen McIntyre. She is survived by her husband, Milton Davis; daughter, Karen Servatt and husband, Henry; son, Wayne Davis and wife, Laura; daughter, Kathy Davis; grandson, John Servatt and wife, Julia; great granddaughter, Joanna; grandson, Mike Servatt, grandson, Tony Davis, grandson, Mark Davis and wife, Michelle, and grandson, Ben Mar; sisters, Ilene Blaxton, and Mary Atherton; brother, Marvin (Junior) McIntyre, Jr., other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Viewing will be Monday, April 17, 2006, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW 87107. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Heights First Church of the Nazarene, 8401 Paseo del Norte Blvd., at 11:30 a.m. A family graveside service will be held at Sandia Memory Gardens April 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Gideon's International, PO Box 80035, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
