Anthony "Banks" Junior Martinez, age 26, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2006. He was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas and St. Hilary's Catholic Church in Pico Rivera, CA. Anthony graduated from El Rancho High School, class of 1997 in Pico Rivera. He was a fun loving person who loved to make people laugh; he just loved to make people feel good. Everywhere he went Anthony always ran into someone he knew. He loved horsing around with his brothers and cousins, always playing jokes on one another and trying to make each other laugh. He loved his family very much and he will be greatly missed by all. Anthony is survived by his parents, Anthony and Lorraine Martinez; step-father, John Turrietta; three brothers, Matthew and his wife, Cassandra of Santa Fe Springs, CA, Chris and Joseph both of Los Lunas; maternal grandparents, Nick and Dolores Zamora of Los Lunas; paternal grandparents, Albino and Mabel Martinez of Pico Rivera; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will take place at San Clemente Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at San Clemente Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his three brothers, Matthew, Chris, and Joseph, Ramon Avila, Steven and Daniel Gutierrez, and Ricky and Robert Jaramillo. Honorary pallbearers will be Cruz, Magic and Troll.
