Howard Strickman, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, of 55 years. Howard served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from the New York City Department of Correction in 1973 and moved to Albuquerque where he has lived since. He is survived by daughter, Marcia Isbell; son, Stan Strickman and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Adam Strickman, David Strickman, Jodi Strickman, Stafford Hicks, and Liz Hicks. A Private Graveside Service will be held on Friday. A special thanks to Barbara Hernandez of Freedom Heart Senior Care for her commitment to Howard and Hospice of New Mexico.
